We are seeking an HR Generalist to help us create the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.

As the HR Generalist, you will provide operational HR support across the full employee lifecyclerecruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants broad exposure to HR strategy and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Maintain and post job openings, manage the applicant tracking system, and coordinate interviews
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Assist with writing job descriptions, preparing offer letters, and pre-hire paperwork
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Help plan and lead new hire orientations
  • HR Operations & Systems Assist in maintaining accurate employee records in BambooHR and ensure data integrity
  • HR Operations & Systems Assist in audits, reports, and compliance tasks
  • HR Operations & Systems Support benefits administration including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee questions
  • HR Operations & Systems Help with offboarding tasks like termination paperwork, COBRA coordination, and exit interviews
  • Performance, Culture, and Development Coordinate logistics for performance reviews and training sessions
  • Performance, Culture, and Development Support employee engagement efforts and recognition programs
  • Performance, Culture, and Development Help draft and update policies, procedures, and employee communications
  • Performance, Culture, and Development Partner on internal initiatives and new programs that support the employee experience
  • Performance, Culture, and Development Partner on training initiatives through the internal training platform
  • Compliance & Leave Management Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
  • Compliance & Leave Management Track and document employee leaves (e.g., FMLA, FAMLI, ADA) and assist with communications and documentation
  • Compliance & Leave Management Help manage safety and workplace compliance initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or HR
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and hiring best practices
  • Experience using an HRIS system (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, etc.)
  • Ability to exercise discretion with respect to confidential or sensitive information
  • Team oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a startup, tech, or aerospace environment
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification
