This position provides technical expertise regarding cybersecurity integration and requires Government interaction at Langley AFB, VA. Responsibilities Provide input and recommendations to Government personnel for all management, operational, and technical controls. Develop security recommendations for program and system-specific designs, configurations, policies, and procedures. Assist in the review of all proposed system or software application changes against the latest NIST standards and all other applicable standards. Review and analyze system audit logs. Review ports, protocols, and services (PPS). Ensure enterprise preparation occurs toward periodic security inspections, assessments, tests, and reviews. Analyze and interpret vulnerability assessment results. Participate in audit and compliance visits. Review, edit, comment on, and analyze documents, and recommend corrections/changes. Prepare briefs and present oral presentations to update the Government on the status of actions. Qualifications Required: Current and active TS/SCI security clearance. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of related experience. Desired Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of NIST standards and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
