Manufacturing Engineer
Join our Engineering Team at Quality Tool, Inc.! We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to design and improve manufacturing processes, support production, and help launch new customer products. We specialize in punching, forming, laser cutting, welding, stamping, machining, turning, mechanical assembly, and laminated bus bar assemblies—delivered with speed, precision, and quality. We serve industry-leading customers in the Medical Equipment, Industrial Controls, and Computer Server & Storage markets.
What You’ll Do
Refine engineering masters and manufacturing instructions
Program and prepare setup files for lasers, turrets, and forming equipment
Support manufacturing teams and train personnel on best practices
Prepare and maintain detailed process layouts and documentation
Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, and specifications
Coordinate new and revised product launches
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align capabilities and schedules
Design and source tooling, machinery, and equipment
Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, and Theory of Constraints
Proficient in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, ProE, Virtual Gibbs, or similar)
CNC programming experience for lasers, turrets, and forming equipment
Strong project management and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
