Department: ServiceReports to: Service Manager--Supervises: None--Benefits:Competitive Pay & BonusesPaid TrainingPaid Time OffHealth BenefitsEmployee Discount401k & More$40,000-$100,000/year based on experiencePurpose:Performs mobile pre-delivery inspections and on-site equipment diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance work in line with the service programs. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or Location Manager.Responsibilities:o Performs on-site service on all makes of Turf and small Agricultural equipment.o Actively promotes and sells dealership specific mobile service programs directly to customerso Coordinates with Service Manager or Location Manager to establish and implement effective processes for all Turf and small Agricultural services offered through dealership specific service programso Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work ordero Establishes and implements effective stocking processes with the Parts department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicleo Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeo Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive productso Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools and equipmento Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentso Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignmentso Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned dutieso Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager--o 1+ years of experience performing service repairso Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skillso Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedureso Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of turf equipmento Proficient knowledge of selling techniqueso Ability to use Service Advisor, Microsoft Office applications, and basic computer functionso Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposeso Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedlyo Basic Service Technician certification preferredo High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferredo Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Drivers License), fork lift license preferredCompensation details: 40000-70000 Yearly SalaryPIdcb04045f4f3-25660-38953732
