Overview The Shipping Specialist reports to the Plant Manager/Shift Supervisor and will provide support with the shipping, loading and transportation of manufactured panels.

Responsibilities
Consistently promote high standards through personal example.
Coordinate the movement of goods; responsible for preparing shipments, tracking deliveries and resolving shipping issues.
Pick/pack and ship order.
Operate overhead cranes.
Operate multiple size lift trucks.
Manage logistics.
Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify contents.
Maintain and accurately record inventory including dunnage, lumber wrap, banding, etc.
Regular Attendance and Punctual.
Identify damaged, lost, or missing products.
Label & scan products.
Unload CNC and Beamline Roll case; operate roll case transfers on CNC, Beams line and Crossover Transfer.
Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure storage space for incoming items and organize stack production for loading of trucks and/or rail cars.
Performs cycle counts.
Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and compliant shipping area.
Completes reports by entering required information.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively.
Good work history/attendance record.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Frequent walking, sitting, talking, or hearing as part of duties.
Exposed to varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with multiple logistics and other software programs including email, spreadsheets, word processing, etc.
Positive interpersonal communication and ability to work well with others; excellent teamwork.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills; math skills.
