Job Summary

The Aircraft Composite Technician II will ensure all work is performed in accordance with current FAA approved technical data and company quality maintenance standards. Responsibilities include the structural repair, replacement, and modification of airframe composite structures and advanced composite components in compliance with regulatory guidance materials and the companys Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This is a safety sensitive position subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing. Review work assignments, obtain required tools and parts, and complete the job in a timely manner while maintaining quality and safety. Ensure routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off. Verify that calibrated tooling is current and properly documented. Follow the companys written environmental health and safety policies to protect personnel, environment, and property. Perform all work according to approved FAA data. Maintain premises in a clean and organized manner. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent. 46 years of relevant experience; large commercial aircraft experience preferred. Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and a pre?employment drug test in accordance with DOT regulations. Depending on location, may be required to obtain airport-issued badges (SIDA, AOA, etc.).

Skills and Abilities

Attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude. Positive attitude and willingness to cooperate with others. Ability to multitask, lift heavy objects, and work in confined or elevated spaces. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to continuous learning and confidentiality of work products. Flexibility to work any shift and use hand tools safely. Ability to read and understand drawings and engineering data.

Work Environment

Hangar and ramp atmosphere; must work in uncontrolled climate conditions.

Physical Requirements

Must lift 50 lbs and handle prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing of stairs and ladders. Normal or corrected vision and hearing required.
