Main purpose of the position: The Sample Room Supervisor will be the leader in managing, organizing, and coordinating the in-house sample creation from concept to garment. This role will be a strong collaborator that not only be able to work with cross functional team members but also manage sample sewers and cutters. This is a permanent full time role for a candidate who will thrive in a fast-paced work environment and has vast knowledge in the physical creation of garment from understanding sewing technique to sewing creation. Major Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Successfully manage in-house production and Development process which includes supply and people management Distribute workload within team and be able to manage tight deadlines Join the sewers in line when there is need to help sew samples for development and/or production to meet deadline or produce higher end garments. Ensure quality and optimized production which includes efficient talent management Partner with cross functional teams to continually provide updates Problem solve any garment issues that may arise Monitor the receiving of fabric Manage and organize proto and PP samples Monitor incoming/outgoing shipments for product and act as the main contact Work cohesively with the Domestic Production team to ensure sample creation is aligned with timeline Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Comprehend the full cycle of a garment production process Possess strong knowledge in garment construction and specifications Strong knowledge of sewing construction and sewing techniques (including cut + sew) Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, quality and developments Strong knowledge of patterns Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership skills Strong multi-tasking and decision making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, self-motivated, and strong knowledge of how to delegate Deadline focused and goal driven Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment Be able to perform physical activity such as moving boxes on a dolly to multiple floors and hanging and carrying samples to multiple floors Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling Must be able to sit for extended periods of time Minimum Qualifications: 7-9+ years of experience in managing a sample room or design studio, apparel manufacturing, project management or similar role Experience leading a team Proficient computer skills including Excel and Google applications Preferred Qualifications: Background in a contemporary brand Associate or Bachelors degree preferred A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision. For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $70,000 to $75,000 per year.
