Network Engineers

Electric Boat Information Technology (EB IT) is responsible for Electric Boat's enterprise information systems such as product design environments, collaboration platforms, and office productivity suites. EB IT supports over , end-users in a wide variety of work environments and locations. The individual in this position will possess the ability to apply subject matter knowledge to solve complex business problems, while also frequently contributing to the development of new ideas and methods. The responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following: Solve and execute on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Provide expertise to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives. Function independently with significant individual judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives Education and Experience (Identify required and preferred qualifications) Required: Bachelors of Science in IT or related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Networking, etc.) + years related Network IT experience Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification (equivalent IT certifications) plus Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) (or equivalent) Demonstrated experience a network solution architect in a global infrastructure environment, including SDWAN Strong experience in VPN, IPSec, GRE, and SSL tunnels.
