Job Description:

St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking a Regulatory Readiness Specialist for our Quality and Accreditation department. The Regulatory Readiness Specialist, under the supervision of the Director of Quality and Accreditation, or authorized designee, is responsible for working with Medical Center leadership, personnel and the organized medical staff to plan, assess, develop and implement processes to improve and sustain ongoing compliance with regulatory, accreditation and disease specific certification programs. The position serves as a resource, mentor, consultant and educator for regulatory, accreditation and certification programs. Responsibilities

Education Requirements

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing and licensed as required by the West Virginia State Board of Nursing. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in nursing preferred. Experience

Experience in data collection and analysis, including graphing and presentation. Experience in regulatory compliance activities, including the survey process and patient safety activities preferred. Minimum of five (5) years as a registered nurse. Certifications/Skills

Ability to work independently and meet/exceed deadlines. Comprehensive computer skills. Ability to work under stressful situations. Marshall Health Network
