NICU RN Job Details Location: Boston, MA 02215 – Massachusetts healthcare job Facility: Level III NICU, 40-bed unit Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026) Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2300-$2360 Paid Parking: Available in secure parking garages Public Transportation: Conveniently accessible NICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts or compact state Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travel nurses) Ability to work one major and one minor holiday during the contract Flu vaccination required prior to start (medical exemptions accepted) NICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting Monitor, assess, and document patient status, progress, and vital signs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, IVs, and prescribed treatments safely Provide compassionate support and education to families during critical care situations Participate in weekly orientation (every Monday, except holidays) Maintain compliance with hospital and nursing policies, procedures, and safety standards Take your next step in travel nursing and join a supportive NICU team in Boston.
