Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Oak Ridge, TN Pay Range: $1820 per hour DOE Our client, a respected leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk to join their team. This role primarily supports the accounting department while assisting with select HR functions, making it a great fit for candidates with strong accounting skills and a proactive mindset. What You'll Do
Perform a variety of clerical accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), invoicing, and general ledger support. Play an active role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting department. Support HR functions such as scheduling interviews, managing employee onboarding paperwork, and maintaining HR records. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of accounting and HR processes. Utilize Microsoft Officeespecially advanced Excel skillsto analyze data, generate reports, and streamline tasks. Work within ERP systems (other than QuickBooks) to manage accounting workflows. What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or clerical role. Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
