hands-on Machine Learning and AI Developer

The successful candidate will work at the intersection of law, data science, and software engineering, building intelligent systems that enhance decision-making, streamline document analysis, and transform how professional services are delivered. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy
machine learning and NLP models
for document analytics, entity extraction, and summarisation. Fine-tune and evaluate
large language models (LLMs)
such as GPT, Claude, Llama, and Mistral using
prompt engineering ,
RAG architectures , and
vector databases . Develop
AI microservices
and APIs in
Python
(FastAPI, Flask) for use within internal platforms and client-facing tools. Leverage frameworks such as
LangChain ,
LlamaIndex , and
Hugging Face Transformers
to build retrieval and reasoning systems. Create and manage
data pipelines
using
Airflow ,
Kafka ,
Databricks , or
AWS Glue . Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including legal professionals, data scientists, and software engineers to translate domain challenges into technical solutions. Evaluate, monitor, and optimise models for
accuracy, interpretability, and performance . Stay current with emerging developments in
agentic AI ,
multimodal systems , and
