Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR and special procedure experience for a hospital-based position requiring ARRT(R), BLS, and WI license.
Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology unit serving IR and neuro patients Day shift schedule with options for either 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Call required 1 in every 3 weekdays and every 3rd weekend Holiday rotation is required Candidates may float within the hospital as needed Responsibilities include performing a range of interventional radiology and neuro procedures Must adhere to department protocols and emergency response participation when needed Compliance with all documentation, background, and credentialing requirements is mandatory Only candidates living outside a 60-mile radius of the facility will be considered If multiple holidays occur during the assignment, only 1 holiday RTO request will be accepted Returning travelers must have a one-year break in service if they have previously worked at the facility for over one year Modules and orientation provided; up to 8 hours are billable
Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in interventional radiology and special procedures Active ARRT(R), BLS, and valid WI state license required Graduate of a Radiology Technology School Experience with fluoroscopy required Ultrasound experience preferred License required if applicable First-time travelers accepted
