Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and driven Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This position will support FP&A or Tax functions within the department. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, managing AP/AR processes, assisting in financial analysis and budgeting, and supporting tax filings and compliance activities. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy and integrity in handling financial data.
Job Duties [Core Accounting & FP&A Support]
Process and review invoice payments and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls
Prepare journal entries, manage the general ledger, and ensure accurate records and balances
Support monthly and quarterly financial closing activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting models
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline ERP-based workflows and resolve financial inquiries
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting and reporting efficiency
[Tax Support]
Responsible for accounting operations including financial accounting
Administer U.S. federal and state income taxes by preparing documents related to UNICAP, R&D credits, APA, etc.
Manage and administer sales taxes for the U.S. and Canada; prepare tax reports using accounting software (SAP)
Review and research U.S. and international tax regulations; stay current with the latest updates
Assist in analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
Support federal and state tax audits as well as internal audit processes
Manage financial statement preparation and month-end reporting
Skills Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and identifying trends
Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams
Proven problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software applications (SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or other ERP systems preferred)
Requirements 0-2 years of related experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Korean/English bilingual proficiency with intermediate speaking, writing and understanding skills
