Job Summary
We are seeking a Curative Specialist I to provide nationwide title services and support real estate transactions. You will search public records and examine property titles to determine legal conditions as part of our production center, branch office, or title team.
Job Responsibilities Handle internal and external inquiries related to moderately complex processes and transactions Monitor messages and questions received via centralized inbox, systematic work queues, or phone Respond to moderate inquiries and escalate more complex issues Coordinate preparation of title documents, primarily affidavits Review and collect all required documentation and forms for closing Enter detailed and accurate notes into appropriate systems File documents according to standard procedures Work with internal and external parties as liaison to resolve requests and issues Follow up on inquiry delays and update system status Maintain high level of customer service through proactive communication Update management on trends, issues, or problems that may impact business or clients Communicate requirements to clients and exercise good judgment in policy enforcement Enhance quality of customer service for company and customer benefit Perform all other duties as assigned by management Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of lien clearing and title resolution experience Previous curative experience with strong knowledge of title and mortgage documents Proficiency with Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills Strong analytical and judgment skills Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills Proven track record of strong quality and productivity Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and organization Self-motivation and ability to work independently Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work quickly and independently Proactive problem identification and resolution skills Ability to provide information and direction to production associates Demonstrated customer service skills Commitment to teamwork Prior experience within multi-state operation High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred nextSource is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
