Senior HVAC Service Technician
to join our expanding team serving clients across eastern Iowa, western Illinois, and nearby states.
You will work on a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, VRV/VRF systems, cooling towers, and low-voltage controls. This position offers autonomy in the field while being part of a supportive and collaborative organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems Perform equipment inspections, commissioning, and preventive maintenance Work on hot water, DX, chiller, VRV/VRF, fan systems, VFDs, and low-voltage controls Provide technical guidance and support to customers and junior technicians Identify and recommend service improvements or system upgrades Maintain accurate documentation using company software and devices Travel within the assigned territory (from Dubuque to Waterloo, Burlington, and across eastern Iowa and western Illinois) Qualifications Required:
5 or more years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial settings Strong knowledge of hot water, DX, chiller, and VRV/VRF systems HVAC license and EPA certification Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated areas Preferred:
Experience with Daikin systems or VFDs Industrial refrigeration experience Additional technical certifications or trade school training Willingness to travel within the assigned territory Prior work with large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC systems What We Offer:
