We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Technician to join and grow in the PPG organization. This Quality Technician position performs inspections of the Company's products to determine conformance with specifications.

Utilizing standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs Processing associated documentation including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material documents Working under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques Performing daily audits of processes Over-inspection of product for conformance Disposition non-conforming product Performing other work-related duties as assigned Knowledge, skills and abilities

High School Diploma or GED required (Additional Training / Education taken into consideration) Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in an aerospace precision machining environment Previous experience as a Quality Technician a plus but not required Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions Mechanical aptitude to adjust / repair gages and fixtures Ability to identify / troubleshoot machining issues Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow written instructions and techniques Must be willing to work hands-on Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines Basic mechanical / mathematical aptitude required Basic computer skills Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Schedule

7:00pm - 3:30am. Weekends will be required based on production needs. The successful candidate will begin working on a training shift and will transition to night shift when training is complete.
