Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager 5 to join their team. As a Procurement Category Manager 5, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the datacenter operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation expertise, and interpersonal skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Fully remote (aligning with Pacific, Central, or Mountain time zones; no EST)
What's the Job?
Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting support for datacenter operations
Review and optimize suppliers based on price, quality, support, and availability
Draft, review, and approve contracts for datacenter-related services
Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
Instruct staff on resolving issues related to undelivered goods and contract administration
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field
10+ years of finance-related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
Experience in contract management, negotiation, and supply chain management
Ability to analyze financial reports, technical data, and price proposals
