Operations Job Summary

The

Warehouse Order Selector

is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and preparing customer orders for delivery. This role requires consistent use of an

Electric Pallet Jack ,

RF Scanner , and attention to detail to ensure all products are handled safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following all

FDA, HACCP, and SQF food safety standards

is essential.

This position is fast-paced and physically active. You will be lifting, moving, and stacking cases in a

cold warehouse environment . Key Responsibilities Operate an

Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)

safely and efficiently throughout the shift. Follow order instructions from the

RF scanner

and pick tickets to select accurate items and quantities. Build

stable, well-structured pallets

according to warehouse standards to prevent product damage. Move completed pallets to the correct staging area for loading. Maintain pick rate expectations ( goal: 100+ packages/hour by day 90

of employment). Identify and report any damaged, spoiled, or incorrect products to leadership. Keep work areas clean and organized; follow all

safety and sanitation regulations . Perform work in accordance with

FDA, HACCP, and SQF

food safety compliance requirements. Inspect assigned equipment (EPJ) daily and report mechanical issues immediately. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory or location issues. Job Requirements Previous experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) is strongly preferred. (Training can be provided for motivated candidates with prior warehouse background.) Ability to

read pick labels and use RF scanners . Must be able to: Stand and walk for

8+ hours

per shift. Lift

up to 60 lbs

repeatedly. Work in cold environments

(ranging from 36°F to -15°F) . Bend, lift, climb, twist, and maneuver pallets throughout the warehouse.

Preferred Skills Prior warehouse or food distribution experience. Experience using: Electric pallet jack RF scanning equipment

Strong organization, time management, and communication skills. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse environment. Cold temperature conditions. Team-driven environment with productivity expectations and clear safety standards.
