Client is a top ranked General Contractor who has been an established leader in the Georgia market for 30+ years. They have a great reputation for excellent retention and repeat clients, a testament to the work they do and company culture. This GC is continuing to grow very quickly, but strategically, and looking to bring on a Project Manager to grow with them.
Job Description
Reviewing and verifying constructability of the plans and specifications. Creating and enforcing a construction schedule that is tracked and updated daily with a constant monthly look ahead to ensure timely completion of the project. Initial project estimates and bidding and qualifying subcontractors Preparing scopes of work and recommending subcontractors to be selected for contracting on the construction of the project. Sending out invitations to bid and managing the bidding process. Negotiating scopes of work and final contract amounts, preparing, estimating and verifying change order requests Responding to RFI's or submittals and responding to subcontractor or consultants project related questions. Directing and managing each of the Superintendents and Project Engineers to maintain the performance of subcontractors and consultants on-site. Implementation of strict construction safety practices Verify compliance with the plans and specifications, hosting weekly and monthly jobsite meetings as well as managing and conducting other duties necessary for the successful completion of the projects. The Successful Applicant
Mixed commercial construction experience required Steel Framingl, Multifamily/Mixed Use, Retaila and Hospitality construction experience highly preferred 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as a Senior Project Manager Strong verbal and written communication skills Stable work record Knowledge in Construction Management or related field required What's on Offer
Base Salary $115,000 - $135,000 4 weeks PTO Cover 100% of health insurance Choice between company vehicle or allowance Vacation days All local work to the Atlanta metro area
