Position Summary

The Global Operations Fellow will assist the Regional Director and the Global Operations Administrator in the process of receiving project and program proposals from global partner organizations, assessing them as well as the partner's potential to benefit from the proposal or program, and then helping to implement decisions as applicable. The Fellow will also provide support to Global Ops Task Forces established to explore and develop future JAARS hubs. The Fellow will learn how JAARS projects, programs, and hubs support partner organizations by providing transportation solutions and training to reduce barriers, ease burdens, and deliver God's Word. The Fellow will also learn about mission operations in a cross-cultural context.

Position Responsibilities

Receive, assess, and develop project and program proposals under the oversight of a Regional Director of Global Operations Manage approved proposals through the decision process, implementation/termination, and post project implementation review (as applicable) Learn, apply and optimize JAARS products and services as provided by each domain and how JAARS engages with the network of international partners in the Bible Translation Movement and beyond, as well as Global Operations projects process and related systems (Google Workspace Apps) Schedule, organize, and attend meetings (virtually and in person) with JAARS staff, and international partners, record meeting minutes, and prepare meeting summaries Manage the Global Ops-Google Drive, Smartsheets, and relevant documentation Generate new project numbers, directory structure, and template data set, as needed Assist the Vice President of Global Operations, the Global Ops Administrator, and Regional Directors in further development, implementation, and writing of critical processes and related policies and documents Prepare internal and external Reports and Presentations, as needed Other job-related duties as assigned by your manager Position Requirements

Fellows Program Requirements

Value global ministry At least 18 years old Learner attitude Collaborative

Preferred

Majors include International Affairs/Relations, Intercultural Studies, Communications, Computer/Internet Technology, Transportation (Aviation, Land, or Sea), or Project Management French or Spanish language proficiency desired, but not required
