Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and X-ray experience to work day shifts with adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities Position involves both CT and X-ray duties in an outpatient and emergency department setting Handles adult, pediatric, and infant patients Work schedule is 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM May float to other facilities within the health system as needed Use of PACS and portable imaging equipment required Siemens CT and Samsung X-Ray experience preferred Required experience with Epic EMR First-time travelers are welcome to apply Primary responsibilities include performing CT and X-ray procedures, including starting IVs and handling a diverse patient population All travelers required to float within their scope of practice if needed Strict policy on attendance and punctuality must be followed Modules for orientation will be completed during onboarding and may take 2-4 hours based on unit Dress code requires scrubs No planned time off is allowed after submission; requested time off must be declared at the time of application Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT and X-ray BLS certification required ARRT certification in CT and Radiography required Experience with outpatient (adult and pediatric) and emergency department imaging required Competence in starting IVs, with an average of 8-9 IVs per day Required experience with PACS and EPIC Experience with Siemens CT equipment required, Samsung X-Ray preferred Proficiency in X-ray exams including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and CT exams such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction License required if applicable Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Education verification must be from an approved institution Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts
