Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for completion of the following items in addition to those listed in the Job Description (see above) Greet and supervise students by enforcing safety regulations while riding the bus; assists in properly securing wheelchairs; Properly fasten students in seats when required; see that each student is seated and remains seated; enforce other safety. Load and unload students requiring assistance, including wheelchair and other mobility assisted students. Accurately maintain student records as necessary. Assist and familiarize yourself with students special health requirements; i.e., seizures. Possess sufficient health, including hearing and vision, and physical strength to care for an assist students, as demonstrated through biannual physical requirements screening as set forth by the District. Must be in good physical health, capable of lifting up to 50lbs with frequent lifting of up to 35lbs. Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training for HIV/AIDS procedures. Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance. Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later). Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date with the exception of CDL training which could go beyond thirty (30) calendar days.
