What to expect.
We are seeking a licensed social worker or counselor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our outpatient mental health center. Our center offers a wide array of mental health and substance use services for clients of all ages. This
dual-role position not only involves management duties, but also direct care, with the Director providing therapy 50% of the time . This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to advance their career while continuing to see patients.
Specific responsibilities include:
Providing
leadership and crisis management
while driving program growth and success. Supervising treatment teams and program support staff, ensuring
efficient and effective operations . Overseeing clinical and administrative staff, providing
leadership and training
to ensure excellent clinical care, customer services, and compliance. Coordinating workflows with other Sheppard Pratt clinics, focusing on
standardization of operations and change management . Ensuring compliance with all
documentation requirements , CARF regulations, and business workflows. Providing
individual, family, and group therapy
to clients as part of a collaborative treatment plan 50% of the time. What you'll get from us.

Must possess one of the following at time of hire: Maryland Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, in a clinical setting, with a proven track record of providing patient care while also taking on increasing leadership and management responsibilities.
The pay range for this position is $90,000 minimum to $100,000 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
