Job specification

Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for all medical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies. Process and maintain all required documentation for credentialing and re-credentialing. Provide support and guidance to medical staff throughout the credentialing and privileging process. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines related to healthcare credentialing. Collaborate with department leaders to monitor and ensure the maintenance of medical staff credentials. Maintain and update medical staff databases, including licensure, certifications, and training records. Provide reports and updates to medical staff leadership on credentialing status and compliance. Candidate requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required; Associate degree in healthcare is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience is required, with at least 1 year in Medical Staff Services and regulatory guidelines. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is strongly preferred.
