We are seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) - Nurse Educator
to provide professional clinical education and staff development support in a hospital environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in
Labor & Delivery
and a solid
Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)
background, ensuring quality patient care and staff competency. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs and training initiatives. Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance clinical performance and patient outcomes. Collaborate with leadership to maintain compliance with clinical standards and best practices. Support staff with evidence-based practices and provide guidance in complex clinical scenarios. Facilitate orientation and competency assessments for new hires and existing staff. Perform additional duties as required by department leadership. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum
2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience. Minimum
2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) experience. Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education & Licensure: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN)
from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's preferred). Active New York RN License
in good standing (Primary Source Verification from NYSED required). Current AHA BLS Certification. Preferred Skills: Experience in clinical education or staff development roles. Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP) are a plus.
