As a TIG Welder, you will perform high-quality welds on pipe and structural steel assemblies, ensuring all work meets ASME pressure vessel and piping codes.

Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Occasional Fridays required Required Education and Experience
2+ years of on-the-job TIG welding experience Experience welding pipe diameters ranging from ½" to 36" in all positions Experience welding structural steel in all positions No high school diploma or GED required General Requirements
Must pass weld test in fixed 6G position Must be able to operate high-frequency amperage control foot pedal Must be able to identify correct filler wire for given base metal Ability to interpret drawings and welding symbols for pipe assemblies and skids Must be able to calculate pipe fittings "take-outs" and piping measurements Essential Functions
Ensure all welds pass ASME pressure vessel and piping codes Prep pipe fittings and pipe ends for full penetration welds Perform GTA welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and duplex stainless steel Interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols Calculate accurate measurements for pipe assembly Working Conditions
Work performed in a fabrication shop environment Cleaner than average shop No travel required Positive and supportive work environment Physical Demands
