The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of all projects from handover to completion. This position coordinates across multiple departments—Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Finance, and Despatch—to meet customer commitments and project timelines. This role requires strong organizational skills, initiative, and clear communication. The Project Manager also supports Technical Advisors, providing coordination and occasional travel assistance. The Contracts Department plays a key role in achieving outstanding customer service and meeting project budgets. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment in line with company policies and procedures. Keep records of personal development and training. Plan and manage projects from sales handover through completion. Communicate contract status updates to customers and address inquiries or complaints professionally. Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure on-time, complete delivery. Keep the project management system updated with live data. Proactively manage project schedules, drawing approvals, invoicing, variations, and payment collection per terms. Coordinate delivery and collection of goods at customer request. Report non-conformities or customer complaints and support investigations to closure. Handle post-sale customer queries and feedback. Analyze actual spend versus budget at project completion. Uphold Balmoral’s HSE standards at all times on-site. Financial Accountability Responsible for accurate project forecasts and overall performance management. Key Relationships Direct Reports: Technical Advisors, Subcontractors, Suppliers Indirect/Internal Contacts: HSEQ, Despatch, Design, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Customers Major Challenges Managing customer communications and expectations. Ensuring high-quality, on-time project delivery with no surprises. Qualifications High School Diploma required Certificate in Contract Management preferred Experience Proven experience managing U.S.-based projects with confidence and accountability. Familiarity with export documentation preferred. Strong background in business-to-business customer interactions. Skills & Abilities Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Innovative thinker with commercial awareness. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with engineering/project software (training provided). Strong planning and time management capabilities.
