JOB SUMMARY:
Position will prepare parts and assemblies for bonding process .
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from specifications, blueprints, oral and written instructions to record pertinent adhesive information, form and layup component parts and assemblies.
Ensure all assemblies are proper relationship according to standard shop practices where tooling and holding fixtures are usually available.
Uses care to avoid contamination of surfaces from foreign substances such as dust or release agents.
Applies various adhesives to bond component parts together. Clamps and secures parts in holding fixtures and tools.
Uses hand tools and some measuring instruments such as drill, thermo-gun, file, scissors, knife, and scale.
Responsible for own work.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High School education or equivalent is required
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in composite layup or other directly related experience preferred
Kansas Tax Credit:
