Job Description
Permitting Specialist Duties:
Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local municipalities and regulatory agencies. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to gather required documentation. Monitor permit status and proactively resolve issues or delays. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements. Serve as the primary liaison with city/county officials and inspectors. Contract Administrator Duties:
Draft, review, and manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and project specifications. Track contract milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates. Assist in budget tracking and change order management. Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation. The Successful Applicant
Minimum 3 years of experience in permitting or contract administration, preferably in residential construction. Strong understanding of Palm Beach County permitting processes and building regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. What's on Offer
