The Assistant Director of Operations – Rooms will provide support and oversight for the entire Rooms Division within the hotel. Areas of focus can include the front office and guest services. The Assistant Director of Operations would be responsible for supporting Department Heads, overall guest satisfaction and colleague training & development. This highly visible role assists in short- and long-term planning of the Rooms Division and is heavily involved in hotel wide initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $94,000-$105,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Previous front office and housekeeping department head experience

Minimum of 4 year previous hotel leadership experience preferred

Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line

Previous experience with hotel management systems such as Opera, Micros, HotSOS, and Kronos

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
