Counselor
to serve youth, adults, and families within our tribal and surrounding communities.
This is more than a job - it's a calling to walk alongside others on their healing journey through culturally grounded, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care.
What You'll Do:
As a
Counselor , you'll work in a supportive and collaborative environment rooted in cultural humility, integrity and compassion. Whether through individual counseling, school-based services, community outreach, or crisis response, our work is infused with meaning and heart. In this role, you'll:
Provide comprehensive assessments and culturally sensitive counseling to individuals, families, and groups Support clients experience mental health challenges, including those at risk of suicide, using evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT Serve as a trusted crisis responder and participate in outreach efforts Develop personalized treatment plans in partnership with clients, written in their own voice Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic wellness Engage in community prevention and education initiatives What You Bring:
Master's degree
in human services or behavioral health field WA State
licensure as a
Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist
(associate or full license depending on level) At least
(1) year experience (post-graduate/post-internship) providing direct counseling services
to individuals, families, and groups Why PTHA?
