Tax Partner

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Partner to join their Private Client group in their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and goals

Implement sophisticated tax, gift, and estate planning strategies to minimize tax implications

Advise clients on charitable giving, philanthropic endeavors, and establishing family foundations

Work with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies to reduce estate, gift, and inheritance taxes

Stay up to date on tax laws and regulations and ensure clients’ compliance with relevant tax obligations

Work with outside attorneys, and assist clients in protecting their assets through various legal means

Liaise with financial advisors and accountants to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions

Requirements

10+ years of tax experience

Previous experience with private client tax

Focus on trusts and estates taxation and planning

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws

CPA required

Skilled in Excel

Hybrid Remote/Office
