Overview
The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. The position is responsible to uphold the Anthem Country Club service standards and excel at member recognition and acknowledgement. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to exceed expectations. Experience Required
Associates or Bachelor's degree; or work related experience equivalent to education Private Club Experience Worked with and/or managed Junior Programs Strong in Hospitality Daily Management of Golf Operations and Play Basic Computer Skills (i.e. word, excel, publisher) Tournament Experience with Golf Genius Tournament Software Self-Motivated and goal oriented Essential Responsibilities
Facilitate all golf shop counter responsibilities, including all daily procedures related to the golf shop and management of play Responsible for learning all aspects of the point of sale system and automated tee time system (Jonas), to include daily reporting functions, policies and procedures, and phone system administration Assist with creating, updating, implementing all inside service SOP's to fulfill operational goals Complete opening and closing reports, including informational and statistical analysis reports used for financial reporting Assist in all Locker Room and Shoe Service areas Assist with the Men's and Ladies Program by offering skills and timely service through running and executing events Assist with the Junior program to develop, market, promote and run activities Assist in Merchandising related to displays, inventory, stocking and special orders Provide exceptional 5-star service to Members and Guests Follow established Opening and Closing Procedures Assist on all tournament activities when asked or assigned Stays current with marketing objectives & initiatives related to the golf industry Be knowledgeable of products in the shop and offerings that are available Perform all other duties as assigned Benefits
