Controller

Our client is a consulting firm. They seek a Controller to join their Parsippany, NJ office.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting to produce timely and accurate financial information

Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Carry out the month‑end financial statement analysis and flux commentary

Produce Consolidated and Consolidating Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements

Assess, maintain, and improve controls to scale the accounting function and safeguard assets

Maintain and uphold revenue recognition policy following ASC 606

Review and assist with audit processes and ensure timely completion of a clean audit

Ensure compliance for statutory financial filings as well as income/sales/VAT tax requirements

Monitor A/R and A/P processes, including optimization and timely reporting on each

Assist with due diligence reviews of potential acquisitions

Requirements

8+ years of corporate accounting

Domestic and international accounting experience

Open to industry background

Private or combo accounting experience

Experience in P/E owned company preferred

Hands‑on and fast‑paced mentality

CPA strongly preferred
