NetSuite Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Administrator to manage, optimize, and advance our NetSuite ERP system in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will customize processes, train users, and drive system enhancements, with deep expertise in Bills of Materials (BOMs), production routings, purchasing (components, raw materials, outside services), fulfillment, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP). This role demands a proactive problem-solver with advanced NetSuite knowledge and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the NetSuite ERP system, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Customize NetSuite workflows, scripts, forms, workflows, and reports to align with manufacturing processes, including BOMs, production routings, purchasing, and fulfillment.
Configure and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate product structures and cost calculations for manufacturing.
Design and manage production routings to streamline shop floor operations and improve production efficiency.
Support purchasing processes within NetSuite, including components, raw materials, and outside services, ensuring seamless integration with MRP and inventory management.
Optimize order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping, to enhance accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of NetSuite’s MRP module to improve demand planning, material procurement, and production scheduling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements across manufacturing, procurement, and fulfillment workflows.
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to empower users across departments, ensuring effective adoption of NetSuite for manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with NetSuite support or third-party vendors as needed.
Manage integrations between NetSuite and other business systems to support purchasing, fulfillment, or manufacturing operations.
Stay updated with NetSuite’s latest updates, recommending and implementing new features to enhance system capabilities.
Support data migration, system upgrades, and testing to ensure seamless operations.
Document system configurations, processes, and training materials for compliance and reference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in NetSuite customization (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics).
Hands‑on experience with NetSuite’s MRP module, BOMs, production routings, purchasing (components, raw materials, outside services), and fulfillment processes.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including inventory management, production planning, procurement, and order fulfillment.
Excellent training and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting within NetSuite.
Experience with NetSuite integrations (e.g., APIs, third‑party tools) is a plus.
NetSuite Administrator Certification is highly preferred.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in manufacturing‑specific NetSuite modules (e.g., Work Orders, Shop Floor Control, Advanced Procurement).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
Familiarity with vendor management and procurement of outside services.
