Summary Billing Supervisor will be responsible to manage day to day account receivable functions including charge entry, payment posting, customer service, denial management and account reconciliation for HCS clients. The individual will assist managing AR teams and support completing their training needs. Individual will support monitoring AR team's productivity and quality standards. S/He will be assist creating and implementing billing procedure. This individual will act as a billing liaison maintaining good working relationships with HCS clients. Individual will assist monitoring and managing HCS clients KPIs by creating and analyzing monthly quarterly reports as well as conducting AR meetings.
Responsibilities Knowledgeable in the full process of the medical accounts receivable/revenue cycle process. Demonstrates positive human relation skills, utilizing effective leadership, written and oral communication skills. Maintains a sensitive, fair, and impartial approach in dealing with staff. Motivates employees through use of positive reinforcement and recognition of employee problems with efforts to resolve these problems.
EDUCATION
Associate's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
At least three (3) years of third-party billing and collection experience including supervision of employees
Medent experience highly preferred
Epic experience recommended
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Demonstrates knowledge of third party billing procedures
Knowledge of claims review and process
Strong computer skills (MS Word and Excel preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skills
Ability to work well with others
Dependable in both production and attendance
Self-Motivated
