SUMMARY:

Assists with district-wide specific technology uses, resources, technology hardware and software, and troubleshooting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical assistance for incoming in-person or over the phone queries using problem-solving techniques. Troubleshoot through diagnostic testing to quickly determine the source of the technical issue. Provide low-level technical support to third-party vendors and internally developed software. Recommend and assist with technology uses, purchases and inventory. Issue and set-up mobile devices for staff. Assist with technology-related programs, tools and resources in effective classroom instruction and application of curriculum. Participate in departmental design projects. Analyze operating procedures and develops related operating manuals. Participate in departmental design projects. Perform hardware inventory, repairs and upgrades including adding and replacing PC hardware components. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Performs other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION:

High school diploma or G.E.D. required. EXPERIENCE:

One (1) year experience in related field. Computer literacy including office productivity applications, email and internet. LICENSING:

Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints ( IVP ) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC). KNOWLEDGE OF:

Various computer operating systems, hardware, software, and related applications. Techniques and methods for organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring work. Principles and applications of critical thinking and analysis. Best practices, trends and emerging technologies. The organization's goals and objectives. Applicable data privacy practices and laws. Applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, and regulations. Customer service principles. Modern office technology. SKILL IN:

Prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Working under pressure. Coordinating deadlines and prioritizing work demands. Gathering data, analyzing findings and applying logic and reason. Working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Learning and understanding new technologies. Troubleshooting and problem-solving. Researching industry trends, solutions and best practices. Oral communication. Utilizing a computer and relevant software applications. Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Medium Work : Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Working Conditions : Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment.
