Facility Overview: Black Diamond Ranch is a private gated community located in Lecanto, Florida. It has been rate the #1 Golf Community in the state, and the Iconic Quarry Course has been voted the #1 Course in Florida.
The club features 45 holes of award-winning golf designed by Tom Fazio. It is considered one of the most unique venues in the world and differs from all others in Florida as it encompasses over 1300 acres with over 110 fee of elevation changes.
Position Overview Black Diamond Ranch is seeking a motivated professional to join our Golf Operations Team as a Head Golf Professional. The candidate will have the opportunity to expand their professional skills and knowledge by having direct involvement and leadership in many golf operation areas. Black Diamond Ranch is owned by Escalante Golf, which values internal promotions for their properties profile as career opportunities arise. The Head Golf Professional will report to the Director of Golf and will interpret and enforce all club rules and regulations. The Head Golf Professional will have direct responsibility over the outside service staff and other Assistant Professionals.
Experience Required
Class A PGA Professional in good standing
4-Year Bachelors Degree Preferred
Minimum 3 years experience at a Private Facility
Proficiency in Golf Genius Tournament Software
Excellent Merchandising Skills and Inventory Management
Successful candidate will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
A Team Player that has a passion for the business of golf
Essential Responsibilities
Facilitation of the member events, and tournaments
Oversee the golf car fleet ensuring proper care and maintenance
Oversight and scheduling of the outside service staff
Ensuring the practice range is proper maintained
Assisting with the golf shop merchandising strategy
