Geotechnical EngineerYour Work Context**Geotechnical Engineer** you will be working on our Offshore Renewables projects.Your Role* Review and interpret geotechnical reports and data to ensure accurate analysis and application.* Conduct detailed geotechnical assessments for offshore projects, focusing on pile driveability, jacking, and foundation design.* Develop and maintain geotechnical software tools.* Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including operational teams, project management, subcontractors, clients, and marine specialists.* Provide expert advice and support on geotechnical topics to various departments within JDN.* Prepare technical reports, design documents, and recommendations.* Offer on-site support during pile installation and jacking operations, solving engineering problems as they arise.* Perform back calculations to improve future geotechnical predictions.* Evaluate and mitigate soil-related risks.* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.* Stay updated with advancements in geotechnical engineering and offshore technology.* Participate in industry research projects.You have a Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences with option Construction and are interested in geotechnics or you have the Dutch equivalent degree of Master of Science in Civil Engineering or Geotechnics. You have a specific affinity for soil mechanics and geotechnics. You have a first relevant work experience in offshore installation techniques and/or theoretical soil mechanics. Be flexible to visit project sites/vessels for short periods.
