As a Field Engineering Specialist you will: showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory provide routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction This is a field-based role. The territory is Cheyenne, WY. Ideal candidate to live within the territory. Travel Requirements: This position has up to 60% travel requirements. This includes overnight travel throughout the week; some holidays and weekends may be required. Who You Are: High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking OR a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking Successfully training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is required Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential Relocation benefits are available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Wyoming is $68,900 to $127,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
