Site Engineers & Section Engineers – Water (X6)

Salary Guide:
£30,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Plus Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits
Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry. They are delivering water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects for Thames Water and are recruiting for Engineers of all levels to work on these projects across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
They are looking for experienced individuals to join site-based teams to provide technical input and solutions in key areas of the water framework projects. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring project delivery, working with leading subcontractors and using modern construction processes and techniques.
You will have previously worked for a UK tier-one main contractor and have a strong civil engineering background. Experience in the Water Treatment and/or Highway sectors is highly desirable.
Responsibilities Senior Engineers
Deliver engineering works through to successful completion in accordance with quality, safety and environmental procedures.
Maintain and improve client relationships to achieve financial success.
Work as part of a larger project team to provide technical input and solutions.
Section Engineers
Develop and support the project team in delivering quality engineering and control.
Plan and provide engineering control and supervise production resources.
Ensure compliance with project and company systems for a defined section of the works.
Site Engineers
Work with the Site Manager on setting out reinforced concrete foundations, retaining walls, access roads, steel and pipework, drainage and other civils aspects of pumping stations, rising mains and water treatment facilities.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering/Construction Management qualification (HNC/HND/Degree level).
Site Manager CSCS card.
Proven progression from engineering background to Senior Engineer with both theoretical and practical experience.
Desirable: SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day), National Water Hygiene card.
Experience with a civil engineering/utilities contractor is preferred for Section Engineers.
