Job Summary We are seeking experienced

Data Center Sustainability & Carbon Intelligence Specialists

for project-based consulting engagements. This flexible opportunity allows you to collaborate on cutting-edge digital infrastructure sustainability projects while building your consulting practice through association with our brand and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Implement comprehensive data center carbon footprint assessments covering Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions

Deploy advanced Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), Carbon Usage Effectiveness (CUE), and Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) measurement systems

Design renewable energy integration strategies including solar microgrids, battery storage, and green hydrogen solutions

Execute ESG compliance reporting aligned with EU Energy Efficiency Directive, California Title 24, and SEC Climate Risk Disclosures

Develop thermal management and cooling optimization strategies for critical infrastructure

Provide technical expertise and mentorship to client and internal teams

Contribute to thought leadership content and client-facing materials (optional)

Required Qualifications

4+ years experience in data center operations, energy management, or digital infrastructure sustainability

Understanding of data center metrics: PUE, CUE, WUE, cooling efficiency, and server utilization optimization

Knowledge of renewable energy technologies: solar, wind, battery storage, and hydrogen fuel systems

Experience with sustainability compliance frameworks for data centers and digital infrastructure

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or quantitative field

Strong project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines

Excellent communication skills for executive-level presentations

Collaborative approach and commitment to sustainability values

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications: EP(GHG), Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner, ESG Data Specialist Certificate

GHG Protocol expertise with emission boundary setting and data quality management

Regulatory knowledge: CSRD, TCFD, SEC Climate Disclosures

Advanced analytical skills with ESG data synthesis capabilities

Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for digital infrastructure

Background in thermal management systems and energy efficiency optimization

Industry experience in technology, cloud computing, or critical infrastructure
