We are seeking a Senior Wireless Connectivity Systems Architect to lead the definition, simulation, and validation of ground-breaking wireless features and RF solutions. As a Senior Wireless Connectivity Systems Architect, you will lead the definition of product roadmaps, silicon selection, hardware radiated specifications, and new feature scoping for wireless connectivity technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and UWB. You’ll drive alignment across global cross-functional teams and key ecosystem partners to define and deliver next-generation wireless connectivity experiences that truly matter to users. You’ll guide system integration efforts through clear product specifications, user impact studies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure outstanding wireless performance. Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define product requirements and roadmap strategy for future connectivity chipsets Specify performance requirements at system and sub-system levels by analyzing user impacts and evaluating product design and integration boundaries Build end-to-end RF system simulations, including complex channel and system contributions, to influence technology feasibility studies, product design tradeoffs, and software algorithms Collaborate with silicon technology development teams on chipset architecture, specifications, characterization, and optimization Partner with product RF design teams, RF integration teams, and software teams to analyze, validate, and optimize end-to-end system performance Minimum Qualifications

M.S. degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience Industry experience in wireless system architecture and engineering Excellent knowledge of wireless connectivity technologies and standards, including Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 family), Bluetooth, 802.15.4, UWB, etc. Solid knowledge in RF lineup analysis, receiver/transmitter architectures, calibration/compensation techniques, and product integration challenges Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of industry experience in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB system architecture for consumer products Deep knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB chipset architecture and high-level specifications Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements for unlicensed spectrum, including FCC, ETSI, and other regional standards Experience in AI/ML and wireless applications Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as MATLAB Hands-on experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, channel emulators, etc. Excellent documentation and communication skills with the ability to work independently, mentor others, and demonstrate innovation At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
