Join Flowserve at our Global Headquarters in Irving, TX! Role Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated

Senior Accountant

to be a key member of our Corporate Divisional Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Manager, Financial Reporting, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that drives strategic decision-making across the organization.

In this dynamic role, you will work across critical U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) accounting areas — including lease accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, consolidations, account reconciliations, and journal entries — while also tackling a variety of ad-hoc projects. Your expertise will help ensure the integrity of our reporting processes, from month-end close through audits, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities

Review lease abstracts and lease accounting inputs and outputs in centralized lease accounting function.

Review joint venture accounting entries and prepare rollforward of investments and non-controlling interest accounts.

Perform other day-to-day accounting, month end closing processes, reporting and account reconciliations under US-GAAP as assigned.

Support site accounting teams in reporting/loading financial and non-financial information, including updating GL (General Ledger)-to-Consolidation Tool.

Produce divisional analytics.

Support internal and external audits.

Assist with balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other key deliverables are met for the team.

Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls.

Participate in building a culture of operational excellence and continuous process improvement.

Maintain a good relationship with site leadership to ensure a healthy service level.

Work cross functionally to ensure end-to-end processes work within the assigned region or sites.

Required Experience/Skills

BS or BA Degree in Accounting

Strong financial background with 5 or more years of relevant experience

Possess a strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX (Sarbanes–Oxley) controls, including ASC 842 experience

Ability to work with minimal direction, possess problem‑solving skills, and self‑motivated.

Excellent analytical abilities, communication and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to interact with associates and leaders throughout the organization

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office Products

Public Accounting experience a plus

Preferred Skills/Experience

Licensed CPA.

SAP GL and SAP BPC preferred

BPC, Power BI or similar consolidation and reporting tools preferred

Lease Accelerator or other lease accounting software preferred

Blackline experience preferred

Experience with large, publicly‑traded, multi‑national company

Ability to work extended, non‑traditional hours as needed during peak periods such as quarter‑end reporting and year‑end reporting
