Phlebotomist
Using appropriate phlebotomy techniques, the Phlebotomist will drive to long-term care clients and private homes to collect specimens from patients and enter data into the computer system. Perform phlebotomy services including specimen collection, labeling, venipuncture, capillary draws, heel sticks, glucose tolerance testing, and blood cultures.
Perform urine drug collection and breath alcohol testing.
Travel to patient sites to collect samples.
Phlebotomy certification
At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience from within a clinic or hospital setting
The role involves performing various levels of phlebotomy and specimen collection in a long-term care (LTC) environment. The Phlebotomist will operate a company vehicle to travel to long-term care clients and private homes. Shift opportunities include start times ranging from 3 a.m. from Monday to Friday, (8 hour shifts).
