Estate Planning Attorney | Lakewood Ranch, FL


A well-established Florida law firm is seeking a mid-level Trusts & Estates Associate with 2-4 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate to join its Lakewood Ranch office. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated estate planning and administration work within a collaborative, client-focused practice.


What You'll Do
• Administer trusts and estates from inception to completion, including probate and trust accountings.
• Draft estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, deeds, and beneficiary designations.
• Review and prepare trust and probate administration documents and other related filings.
• Conduct legal research on complex procedural and substantive issues related to probate and estate planning.
• Build relationships with clients and assist in business development and community engagement initiatives.


What We're Looking For
• Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 2-4 years of focused experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate.
• Strong drafting, research, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.
