The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of warehouse support duties including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Inventory transactions are managed through a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and associates are expected to accurately perform tasks using this software. This role ensures inventory is properly maintained and that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately and safely.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Occasionally hand unload shipping containers, often involving repetitive lifting and manual handling of freight.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and according to company policy.
  • Perform regular inventory counts.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet warehouse goals and deadlines.
  • Accurately process all inventory transactions using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods, required.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control, required.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn warehouse equipment, required.
  • Flexibility to work possible overtime, required.
  • 40k lb. forklift experience, highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience, preferred.
  • Experience with WMS software, especially C2C, preferred.

Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to warehouse conditions such as noise, heat, cold, and moving equipment.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
