ABOUT THE ROLE The EMEA IT Manufacturing organization plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation across Bridgestone’s manufacturing operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It delivers innovative, reliable, and scalable IT solutions that enable operational excellence, smart factory initiatives, and sustainable manufacturing. The team partners closely with Manufacturing leadership to align technology with business strategy and foster continuous improvement. About the Role Job Purpose Cybersecurity Officer plays a critical role in minimizing IT/OT risks, vulnerabilities, and technological issues while driving digital stewardship compliance across manufacturing plants. Protecting OT Environments: You will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's OT environments, including ICS, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial systems, from cyber threats Ensuring Compliance: You will ensure that the Manufacturing domain adheres to security standards, processes, and practices Leading IT Teams: You will lead a team of Cybersecurity Specialists to design and implement processes, policies, and solutions based on industry-leading practices, supporting the secure deployment of industrial control systems and applications across manufacturing plants Collaborating with IT Teams: You will work closely with other IT/OT teams, such as plant digital teams, infrastructure and network team, application managers, and Global Information Security Office, to ensure the best cybersecurity practices and standards Driving Continuous Improvement: You will drive continuous cybersecurity improvement initiatives by staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Responsibilities: Build roadmaps and programs aligned with global and local business objectives and central security roadmaps. Participate in the elaboration of the global information security program on a strategic level. Develop and implement a Manufacturing IT/OT cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across OT environments. Lead incident response efforts related to IT/OT cybersecurity breaches. Deploy and manage security controls for manufacturing IT/OT systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation). Monitor OT networks for suspicious activity and active response to threats. Oversee patch management, access controls, and asset inventories for IT/OT environments Ensure IT/OT cybersecurity practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (TiSAX, NIS2, …) Develop and maintain IT/OT-specific security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Participate in audits and manage remediation plans. Support secure design and procurement of new IT/OT systems. Manage financial budget forecast and control of the security budget allocated Perform analysis of the architecture and infrastructure of Industrial Control Systems in terms of security Qualifications & Experience Required Education, Master, other certification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering or related field Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, or IEC 62443-related credentials Experience (years): +5 years of professional IT experience cybersecurity and at least 2 years focused on OT environment Technical Skills: Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Cybersecurity Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC) Familiar with OT cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 Experience with asset discovery, endpoint detection and response (EDR) and network segmentation in OT environments Languages Skills: Professional working proficiency in English required. Knowledge of other European languages as Spanish, Italian, Polish or Hungarian is an asset. Soft/Behavioral Skills: Ability to influence and motivate teammates and other internal or external stakeholders Strong communication skills are necessary to communicate to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other IT teams and external partners.
