What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for design‑build and plan/spec projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate takeoffs
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing for all scopes of work
• Build comprehensive project budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Evaluate design documents for completeness, constructability, and value engineering
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project handoff
• Update and maintain estimating databases, labor rates, and unit cost assemblies
• Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior estimators (for senior‑level roles)

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installation practices
• Proficiency with estimating tools (Accubid, Trimble, McCormick, or similar)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under deadlines with strong attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Bonus Points

• Experience with data center, renewable energy, or large commercial projects
• Design‑build estimating experience
• Familiarity with BIM or digital takeoff software
• Leadership experience or mentoring junior estimators
